  • On the basis of a large number of literatures summarized,processing experiment is carried out using diamond wire saw to cut workpieces with/without ultrasonic vibration.The results show that with the increase of linear velocity,sawing force becomes smaller and that with the increase of feed speed sawing force becomes bigger.Compared with sole diamond wire saw cutting,ultrasonic diamond wire saw machining's sawing force is smaller and its straightness of process track is better,with smaller surface roughness value and better surface quality.
