  • The effect of Co on performance and structure of low-temperature Fe-based ceramic/metal composite bonds was studied.Samples were sintered at 700℃in vacuum.Using mechanical tester, bending strength and impact strength of samples were tested and micro-topography analyzed using XRD and SEM.The results showed that when the addition of Co was 17wt%,it reacted with ceramic to form Co-CoO-ceramic cubic structure. The bending strength and impact strength of low-temperature ceramic/metal composite bonds reached their maximum, namely 130.55 MPa and 4.33 kJ/m2,respectively.The Fe-based prealloy powder with Co promoted finer bond crystalline, which reinforced the strength.
